Storage media packaging (also called jewel case or slim case packaging) has been specially developed for shipping storage media and to protect CDs and DVDs during transport while saving on postage cost.
Application/Uses
ColomPac packaging materials are used whenever media such as DVDs or CDs have to be posted. They are particularly useful wherever DVDs or CDs are shipped on a daily basis, i.e. in online sales or online media libraries.
Slim case media packaging is the perfect cost-effective and space-saving solution, especially compared with conventional shipping methods that put DVD or CD cases in outsized, uneconomical and expensive shipping envelopes.
Composition
ColomPac media packaging materials can be made from strong corrugated cardboard or solid cardboard and feature a handy self-adhesive seal, making additional sealing with adhesive tape or similar unnecessary. Jewel case shipping cases can be opened with a convenient tear-open strip for easy access to the posted media. These packaging materials make additional protective cases for CDs and DVDs redundant as the corrugated or solid cardboard packaging will provide adequate protection!
All media packaging materials feature additional edge protectors all around, protecting the product in case of falling. In addition, all packaging materials display a warning, drawing the delivery person’s attention to the fragile nature of the goods.

Sealing options
All storage media packaging types feature a convenient self-adhesive seal, allowing for safe closure with a minimum of handling.
For ease of opening, the packaging units come with a tear-open strip.
Storage media packaging designs
Our media packaging is available in a number of options. As a jewel case for one or two CDs or DVDs, with tear-open aids and surrounding edge protectors, or as a practical sleeve with or without address window for postage-optimized shipping of a CD with accompanying letter.
