Paper carrier bags, also called paper bags or paper shopping bags, are used for packaging and transporting gift items, merchandising, groceries or bottles.
Application/Uses
The carrier bag is used for transporting goods such as grocery shopping, presents and much more. It is also a popular advertising medium. Many companies have them printed with their logo or other unique designs and distribute them with little merchandising gifts to potential customers at trade fairs or similar. They are also used in retail for stowing customers’ purchases for convenient transport.
An especially popular type is the bottle bag; the shape of the bag is perfect for wine or champagne bottles.
Composition
Paper bags are made of fully recyclable kraft paper. This material makes the bags durable and they can be re-used several times. There are three different kinds of paper handle for convenient transport; these are made of kraft paper like the bag itself. This is the most common carrying option for carrier bags.
There is also the possibility of a paper cord for the handle. The rolled shape of the cord makes it extremely robust and it will hardly sag even with a heavy load.
As a final possibility, there is also cotton cord. This is the luxury handle option and especially popular for packing upmarket and expensive items. Should there be something especially heavy that requires packing, the handles can be strengthened additionally on request.

Sealing options
The paper carrier bags can be manufactured with a convenient cotton cord, a paper cord or an interior flat kraft paper handle. The kraft paper handle can be strengthened additionally to ensure optimal feel and safety.
Paper bag designs
The kraft paper bags are available in brown or white. They are perfectly suited to printing with your custom design such as your company logo or advertising on either one or on both sides.
The paper bags feature a side and bottom fold, making them space-saving to store with additional volume when used. The paper bags can also be equipped with a strengthened base for transporting heavy goods without tearing the bottom.
For a more upmarket finish, the bags can also be coated with high gloss paper. This additional finishing option is especially popular for advertising printing or trade fair bags.
